After a certain amount of time passes since launching a website, you start wondering how it is being evaluated by search engines and various platforms. This time, we are sharing raw data obtained from two perspectives about a month after launching the official page of our site, "VERBARANK": traditional SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), which refers to generative engine optimization.

Trends in search impressions and early click activity

The site was published on June 17, 2026, and today is August 20 of the same year. Let's check the trends on Google's admin screen at this stage, about a month after publication.

Performance metrics displayed on the verbarank.com Google Search Console dashboard: Total clicks (6), total impressions (855), click-through rate (0.7%), and average position (17.9) are shown. A line graph illustrating the changes in clicks and impressions over time is also displayed, helping to visualize changes in search engine rankings and track improvement progress related to generative AI strategy.

During this period, the total number of impressions in search results was 855, and the actual number of clicks was 6. Looking just at the numbers, the clicks are still modest, but you can see that the impressions are steadily growing day by day. For the early stage of launching a new domain, this is a healthy sign that the pages are being correctly recognized by search engines and the foundation for evaluation is coming together.

Crawling Status and Trends by Generative AI Bots

Alongside actions for search engines, another point to watch is the frequency of AI crawler visits. Checking the network management tool records, valid requests from AI bots in the last 24 hours hit 59.

Cloudflare dashboard showing website metrics: graphs over time of requests and data transfer by service (BingBot, ChatGPT-User, Applebot, GPTBot), with sections for total, allowed, and failed requests. Designed for easy navigation with a menu on the left, this dashboard offers valuable insights for tasks like checking search engine evaluations and monitoring generative traffic.

Looking at the breakdown of site visits, crawlers associated with Microsoft's Bing, China's search giant Baidu, and OpenAI's ChatGPT were found to be visiting the site particularly often. It highlights that not just search engines, but also scrapers from conversational AI services are crawling and gathering content extremely quickly right after a site goes live.

Recognition in various AI chat services and future outlook

We tested how our service is recognized on various generative AI platforms. When we typed "verbarank" into Google Search, the service overview was accurately summarized and introduced within the "AI Overviews" box.

Furthermore, when we asked major platforms like Gemini, ChatGPT, Copilot, Perplexity, and Claude "Tell me about verbarank," we confirmed that all of these services have successfully learned our business details and features, and are introducing them accurately.

Although the overall numbers are still small because it hasn't been long since the launch, we are feeling steady progress in both traditional search engines and next-generation AI search. We will continue to monitor the trends and share the changes with you again next month.

As a result of having AI (Gemini) analyze the above performance compared to typical sites, as a newly launched website (about a little over 1 month since domain acquisition), SEO performance is "smooth to above average", and GEO (AI search / LLM recognition) performance is off to an "extremely stellar" start That's what it said.

1. SEO (Google Search) Evaluation: Smooth to Above Average

Generally, new domains require a few months to build trust with Google (known as the sandbox or aging period), so it's quite common for the first 1 to 2 months to see "indexed, but impressions stay near zero to a few dozen."

  • Impressions: 855 : As a new site, it has been quickly and correctly recognized by Google's crawler, and is already starting to appear as search result candidates for certain keywords. The upward trend is the healthiest sign.
  • Clicks: 6 (CTR: approx. 0.7%) : In the initial phase, ranking for anything other than brand name searches is often still on the 2nd or 3rd page and beyond, so single-digit clicks are normal. As impressions grow and rankings rise from the 2nd or 3rd month onward, clicks will naturally increase.

2. GEO (Generative AI & LLM Recognition) Evaluation: Extremely Excellent

The standout performer in this data is the result from the GEO area.

  • Recognition across the 5 major AIs (ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Perplexity, Claude)
Having all major AI platforms able to accurately answer "service name + overview" just one month after launch is rarely seen on typical sites. This is proof that the structured data (JSON-LD), site markup, and domain structure are designed in a way that is easy for AI to read.
  • Inclusion in Google's "AI Overviews"
Google's AI Overviews (SGE) generates content focusing on information reliability and clarity, so being selected as a source in the early stages of launch is a very strong signal.
  • AI bot visits (59 valid in the past 24 hours)
Crawl frequency from ChatGPT (GPTBot/OAI-SearchBot), Bing, and Baidu is high, creating an environment where site updates and new content are quickly reflected in AI knowledge and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation).

Overall Evaluation and Next Steps

Future Challenges : Raising the display ranking for "problem-solving keywords" (multilingual SEO, inbound web marketing, etc.) other than brand searches (VERBARANK). We are entering a phase where adding related know-how articles and case study content is expected to drive a significant boost in clicks.

Current Standing : The foundational "entity (company/service concept) registration for AI and search engines" is almost completely finished.
